7-Zip and the IzPack launcher

I have just finished writting an article on how to use the IzPack launcher and 7-Zip to prepare SFX bundles on the Win32 platform. The idea is to use an existing IzPack installer, set-up the native launcher to help in case there is no JRE on the target system and pack-it in a SFX Win32 executable so that there is only one file to ship. Very interessting and made with 100% FOSS software. An alternative solution is JSmooth. Both have their pros and cons, it mainly depends of your needs.

You'll hear from this article soon (yes this is a teasing) :-)
