Eclipse 3.1 M5

A new milestone release for this great platform. I am always amazed to see how the Eclipse community pushes the limits ! I am working on a research prototype which needs a visual editor. I would like it to be based on Eclipse technology and thus I have taken a deep look at both the EMF and GEF.

While EMF is great, I am not sure that I will retain it. In fact, I have some strong requirements and the generated code does not meet all of them. Also, the Ecore editor is not that bug-free. However GEF has convinced me. I'll probably use a self-made model code, but GEF will rule the visual edition duties.
