Bye bye Sydney!
Et voila trois mois de passes, je repars demain pour la France. A priori pas de mises a jour du blog pour au moins une bonne semaine, et je serais certainement aux abonnes absents par mail
IzPack 3.9.0 released!
Here we are, the new stable of IzPack has been released!
This new stable release brings some new features, including new panels and translations, as well as the usual set of bugfixes. You are strongly adviced to upgrade to this new release in order to get the benefits of the impressive work that the developers and contributors have put in.
I would like to warmly thank the developers involved in this release or the previous ones, as well as the contributors that sent us patches. This release would have never been possible without your tremendous work! I am also very pleased that there is a community behind this project, and it's nice to see that.
You can download IzPack 3.9.0 from the IzPack website

IzPack Launcher 2.1 released
The IzPack Launcher version 2.1 has been released. It allows to provide native executables that:
- check for the presence of an adequate Java Runtime Environment
- assists end-user in installing a Java Runtime Environment if none could be detected, either by using a bundled one or from the Internet
- launches an IzPack installer once the previous steps have been completed.
This release is based on the Qt Toolkit. Compared to the previous release, it introduces many bugfixes. It is considered to be usable in production environments, and it is strongly advised that you use version 2.1 over the older 1.3 that was based on the wxWidgets toolkit.
3.9.0-RC1 download problems fixed
A stupid unix permissions problem has prevented the proper download of IzPack 3.9.0-RC1. It has now been fixed, and you can download it from ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/izpack/IzPack-install-3.9.0-RC1.jar (it works this time!).
As a consequence, I have moved the possible 3.9.0 release from next sunday to next monday instead. To make this possible, we need you to test it
