Sun hires the JRuby guys
Sun has just hired the JRuby developers and that's a really smart move! Rails made me discover the Ruby language, and I really like the beauty of this language. In my opinion, both Python and Ruby are classy languages, and the addition of Ruby to the list of dynamic languages that run on the Java platform is very very good news. And that's one argument less for the .Net fanboys :-p
