IzPack 3.9.1 roadmap

The next release of the IzPack Java installer is planned for january 2007. More specifically:

  • the code freeze and release candidate 1 is planned for the 15th of january
  • the final version is planned 2 weeks after the last successful release candidate, hence it has been initially planned for the 29th of january.

There won't be huge changes in the codebase, but this will be for sure another small step forward. If you would like your own contribution to be included in this release, please send us a unified diff patch on the izpack-devel mailing-list. In case your patch is about a new feature, don't forget to add the documentation. This would ideally be part of the patch (by modifiying the documentation), but a plain text description in the email will do ;-)
