Update: the code of the glossy reflection library actually originates from Romain Guy. The guy who pretends to have written this code is a nasty unethical cheater. Romain had many problems with this and all that the author managed to do was to accept to put his nickname in the contributors list… The real Javascript glossy reflection is here.

I have came across a very small JavaScript library for glossy image reflections. By using a special HTML class on a an image, it will render the reflection. Of course you can define the reflection height and the transparency.

Default parameters (50% height, 50% transparency):
Mac

80% height, 80% transparency:
Tux

33% height, 33% transparency:
Win

Finally, there is also a Wordpress plugin with Reflection.js support.
