I have just upgraded the Wordpress installation that is running this blog.
I am extremely pleased to see that the process has been much simplified since it is no longer suggested to deactivate plugins and perform other mundane tasks.
The process is now as simple as:
- make a backup of your files and database (which is common sense)
- drop the new files over your blog installation
- go to the upgrade page and that’s it.
I like when it’s that simple, although I would prefer to simply log-in to my Wordpress admin interface, then hit a upgrade button and have it done automagically by Wordpress ![]()
