		<description>Hi Vincent,

Thanks for stopping by ;-)

I'm glad that you chose IzPack which is quite mature now (started in 2001 when unit tests or IoC weren't mainstream). If I had the resources to work on it I guess I would rewrite the codebase with a more modern design, scripting languages and the likes... but I disgress :-)

I found the XWiki installer to be just great. Really. Feel-free to ask us if you need some support to add custom panels and automate the process further. Many people did this, including the JBoss guys for JEMS.

I'm currently living in &lt;a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&#038;hl=en&#038;geocode=&#038;time=&#038;date=&#038;ttype=&#038;q=Aubi%C3%A8re,+France&#038;ie=UTF8&#038;ll=45.750636,3.111362&#038;spn=0.064802,0.112953&#038;t=h&#038;z=13&#038;om=1" rel="nofollow"&gt;Aubière&lt;/a&gt;, a lovely city in the south part of Clermont-Ferrand. I also spent some time in Sydney, Autralia during the last 3 years, but that's another story.

		<description>Hi Julien,

Glad you noticed this! I wanted to let you know we were happily using IzPack but I guess I forgot in the spur of the moment.

This is the first time I've used IzPack so I'm sure I have missed stuff. If you have any input and suggestions for improvements I'd love to hear them. The next is to create some custom install screen for setting the database information (connection string, username, pwd, etc) and Servlet container HTTP request port.

Right now I'm using IzPack through some unreleased Maven plugin but I've seen it's also wrapped in the Apache daemon maven plugin so I'm going to try this one in the future.

Thanks for this great tool. Where are you based in France?
